This WAY TO THE CROSS is inspired in the meditations and prayers of Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger from the Way to the Cross of the Holy Friday of 2005. The ilustrations correspond to the stations made for our church by the Vatican artist Claudiu Ungureanu based on images of the Way to the Cross of the Venetian school of the eighteenth century which is located in the cathedral of Padua. The Way of the Cross is perhaps the most beautiful, ancient devotion, which has sprung from God's holy people in their eagerness to play the mysteries of the passion and death of Jesus Christ. the path of the cross is to accompany the Lord in the intense hours of the greatest pain and love..
